2008 Masters World Schutzhund Tournament

Christine Sonberg is 30 years old, and is born and raised in Norway. Her professional dog career started in 1998, when she graduated as a teacher/instructor from Scandinavia’s leading dog school, Oslo dog school. From then on she worked full time with dogs and dog training, as well as keeping on educating. She has had obedience classes on all levels from puppy to high level competition, agility, working dog and handler classes, and also giving theoretical classes about training and animal behavior. She has worked as a dog handler for movies and TV commercials.
Next to this Christine has for years been handling show dogs, and has handled dogs to national and international champions, world winners, Cruft winners etc.

In 2001 she became manager for the biggest department of the Oslo dog school company, and she was involved in the development of the school and the instructor/dog trainer education.

Her interest for the Schutzhund sport started in 2000, when she bought her first Malinois. Since then she has been devoted to the sport and been an active competitor. In 2005 she moved to Belgium, and is since 2007 married to Gert Vandersmissen. Together they own and run Kennel van de Biezenhoeve (German Shepherd & Malinois), and Kennel Cymraeg Ci (Welsh Corgi Cardigans). Christine & Gert travels all over the world, giving Schutzhund seminars.

▪ 2005 C-competition Belgium Champion with Gringo von der Mohnwiese

▪ 2007 6^th place Selection trial with Hasko von der Mohnwiese

▪ 2007 3^rd place selection trial with Hasko von der Mohnwiese

▪ 2007 Regional Champion with Hasko von der Mohnwiese

▪ 2007 5^th place WUSV Slovakia with Hasko von der Mohnwiese

▪ 2007 3^rd place Belgian Championships with Hasko von der Mohnwiese

Hasko von der Mohnwiese has entered in total 17 trials/competitions. From these he has won 7 of them. He has in total 11 podium placements.
