Highlights
of his
career
I have been President and Training Director of the Palmetto State Schutzund Klub since 1997. I started doing schutzund in the early 90’s and have been at it ever since. I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best trainers in the world and to have shared a world team spot with a couple of them.
The thing I enjoy most about schutzund is the friendships and relationships I have made throughout the world. Our sport has given me the opportunity to see the world doing something I love. It is truly priceless.
My most memorable schutzund experience was being on the 2001 USA FCI World Team and being in Nova Gorica Slovenia when the 9-11 terrorists attacks happened. The feeling is indescribable.
My proudest moment occurred in 2002 when our USA FCI World Team made the podium in Baunatal Germany, the highest finish for a USA team ever in this event. It was a great feeling to stand on a podium in Germany, something I had always hoped to do.
My greatest accomplishment is my wife Andrea and our two sons, Reid and Ellis.
