Gabor Szilasi
His highlights of career
Gabor started training dogs in 1968 at the age of 14 with his 1st German Shepherd and has been consistently active, training and trialing since then, through today. He started working dogs in agility and Schutzhund in the 70’s in Europe, with the majority of his training being worked on in Hungary, Belgium and Germany with World level helpers. He worked for and certified by the Hungarian military; evaluating, selecting and training instructors, handlers and dogs since 1976. He has been involved in training and dogs sports for over 40 years, both in Europe and here, consistently training and trialing his own dogs from a puppy to World level competition.
His accomplishments
▪ He was Youth National Champion 1 time
and National Champion 5 times in
Hungary.
▪ He consistently competes in numerous
Regional, National and World qualification
trials, both in Europe and in the US.
▪ He has competed on the WUSV team
(formally the European Championships)
15 times with dogs that he has trained
from a puppy to the highest level
(Handler Owner Trained). He has
qualified a total of 18 times. In 2006 and
2007, he qualified for both the FCI and
WUSV team.
