BROCKTON – There's no better way to indulge in the vast cuisine of Brockton than restaurant hopping during the second annual Metro South restaurant week.

Brockton restaurants are showing out with their menus from Vegan Cape Verdean food, giant craft burgers, homestyle Italian, grilled jerk chicken, and plenty more options.

From June 4 to June 8, eateries from all sides and beyond are serving their hot takes of entrees, and some are made especially for this week.

The purpose of this is to show local restaurants an extra bit of love and appreciation for all they do for the community.

Cabo Vegan to participate in Restaurant Week

Cabo Vegan is eager to show customers what's new on their menu, from catchup, Cape Verde's national dish, truffle fries, tamarind juice, and a plant-based meatball sandwich.

"We bring unique food to Brockton" from a mixture of Cape Verdean culture, and it "feels good to be able to do that," Tome Andrade, co-owner of Cabo Vegan, said.

The vegan restaurant wanted to join the superstar lineup to blow people away on how vegan food can be delicious but healthy.

"We're super excited to participate in restaurant week. We've had so much support from the community and customers from all over traveling to Brockton to try our entrees," Andrade said.
