Dunks and double-doubles: Vote for the High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week

Holbrook High's Jalik Fernandes has been voted the High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week.

Fernandes received over 20,000 votes to earn the honor. He starred in a victory over Quincy with 27 points.

And this week's candidates are...

Chance Moya, Sr., Southeastern: Moya scored 24 points in a 59-54 win over Canton.

Matt Delcore, Sr., Pembroke: Delcore scored 23 points in a 51-47 win over Plymouth South.

Jiai Gonzalez, Soph., Blue Hills: Gonzalez scored 22 points in a 78-50 win over Keefe Tech.

Matt Youngquist, Sr., Middleboro: Youngquist scored 26 points in a 70-59 win over Carver.

Nicholas Bellofatto, Sr., Westborough: Bellofatto gathered 20 points and nine rebounds to lift the Rangers (6-1) in a 45-43 win over Oakmont on Friday. Bellofatto poured in 26 points to pace the host Rangers earlier in the week in a 78-70 win over Algonquin.

Jack Carter, Fr., Millis: Carter contributed 17 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Norton on Tuesday.

Sam Dadagian, Jr., Hopkinton: The forward led the way with 26 points as the Hillers (4-2) defeated Westwood, 67-59, on Friday.

Ryan Dillon, Sr., Marlborough: Dillon scored 17 points for the Panthers in a loss to Groton-Dunstable on Friday.

Ryan Dooley, Sr., Lincoln-Sudbury: Dooley scored 18 points as L-S defeated Lowell Catholic, 71-57, on Wednesday.

Andrew Eiben, Sr., Algonquin: The senior captain scored 19 points in a loss to Shrewsbury.

Logan Greenlaw, Jr., Keefe Tech: Greenlaw scored all 14 of his points in the first half as the Broncos (5-1) took care of visiting Abby Kelley Foster, 69-34, on Friday. Greenlaw also netted 14 points for the Broncos in a road loss to Blue Hills.

Dante Jeremic, Jr., Natick: The guard drained two free throws to clinch the Redhawks (4-1) a 60-58 win over Newton North on Friday. Jeremic finished with 24 points and five assists.

James McKinney, Jr., Nipmuc: The center McKinney (13 rebounds) had 14 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to propel the host Warriors (6-1) past Hopedale, 69-51, on Friday.

Mason Melchionda, Sr., Dover-Sherborn: Melchionda led the way with 18 points as the Raiders (5-3) rallied back for a 53-51 win over Norton on Friday after trailing at halftime, 25-16.

Jackson O’Brien, Sr., Hudson: O'Brien scored 23 points boost the visiting Hawks (5-4) in a 57-42 win over Tyngsborough on Friday. Earlier in the week, O’Brien netted 12 of his 16 points in the second half to help the visiting Hawks edge Bay Path, 53-39.

Sean O’Leary, Sr., Franklin: O'Leary scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists as the Panthers (7-1) rolled past Taunton, 75-58, on Friday.

Ross Priscella, Sr., Bellingham: Priscella scored 25 points, including 11-for-13 from the foul line, as the Blackhawks (4-4) defeated Dedham, 57-51, on Friday.

Robbie Rudisill, Soph., Ashland: Rudisill scored 20 points in a 49-25 win over Holliston on Friday.

Ryan Sauter, Sr., Blackstone Valley Tech: Sauter had 16 points, seven steals and four assists to help the host Beavers down Monty Tech, 54-42.
